At The Border

Every day, millions of people cross Nepal's open borders. Project Saved has set up multiple border checkpoints across the country to intercept those who are being trafficked and those who might be at risk.

What We Do

Rescue

We operate border monitoring checkpoints at various borders to prevent and disrupt human trafficking. Staff educate women and girls about trafficking risks and monitor crossings. Suspect cases are detained for further investigation with local law enforcement support.

Education

Project Saved's Scholarship program supports disadvantaged boys and girls, particularly those orphaned, marginalized, or impoverished, by providing education and shelter. This initiative aims to offer vital opportunities and support to children deprived of education.

Community

We support communities and villages through education and infrastructure support, focusing on literacy and access to clean water in Nepal's remote areas. Project Saved promotes long-term sustainability through self-sufficient programs in finance, enterprise, and health.

Safe Houses

We combat human trafficking across Nepal's borders by establishing safe houses in high-risk areas. These centers provide secure environments for protection and intervention, supporting survivors and potential victims.

Counseling

Project Saved provides counseling and legal support to trafficking survivors and vulnerable individuals, as part of a holistic approach that includes vocational training and educational support to address their needs.

Awareness

We are dedicated to increasing global awareness of human trafficking, starting with preventive education for school children in Nepal. Collaborating with local and international partners, Project Saved aims to expand these initiatives worldwide.
